Marietta PAL Youth Boxing & Dance Program Now Accepting New Students

MARIETTA, GA - The Marietta Police Athletic League (PAL) is accepting registrations for its new and existing Winter youth programs, including PAL Dance classes and the PAL Boxing Club. Your child can join PAL programs for just $50!

PAL’s new dance classes are being hosted in partnership with Chasse Dance Company.  Dance instructor Bianca Dominguez will provide instruction in jazz, ballet, and hip hop. Registration for dance is open to boys and girls ages 6-17.  Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8 pm at the Lawrence Street Recreation Center, located at 510 Lawrence Street, Marietta, GA. 

Registration for PAL’s Winter Session is just $50 per child, and the session runs from January 9th through May 15th. Register for PAL Dance on Monday, Nov. 26th from 4-6pm and receive two free Introductory Dance Camps that will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 26-28, from 6-8 pm, and Monday and Tuesday, December 10-12, from 6-8 pm. Official classes begin on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

The Marietta PAL Boxing program is open to Marietta girls and boys, ages 12-17. The program is an official USA Boxing club, led by certified boxing referee and veteran coach Herbert Van Dorn. The program includes boxing classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 pm, and also requires anaerobic exercise sessions held two Saturdays per month from 9-11am.  Registration for the PAL Boxing program is only $50 and is open through December 7th.  Classes run through May 16, 2019. Prior to sparring, each boxer must provide proof of a completed medical evaluation and register with USA Boxing at a cost of approximately $85 per year.
