Marietta Museum of History Continues History Loves Company Virtual Programming

MARIETTA - The Marietta Museum of History is proud to present History Loves Company, a weekly Facebook Live program. Each month, Curator Amy Reed and Collections Manager Christa McCay take viewers to a different historic spot around Cobb County and discuss the hidden stories and history that few people are aware of.    

Join Amy and Christa as they explore old buildings and properties, share fascinating stories that most have never heard or forgotten, discuss significant events that have shaped our community and bring their joy and excitement for local history to the masses.  

Started in March of 2020, these weekly videos are presented live every Friday at 2:00 p.m. and are then archived on both the Marietta Museum of History’s Facebook page @MariettaMuseum and the Marietta Museum of History’s YouTube channel.

Cost: FREE   

The Marietta Museum of History uses ordinary objects to tell the extraordinary stories of Marietta and Cobb County's rich history and culture. Galleries and exhibits cover topics such as military history, home life throughout the centuries, technology, and local businesses from our past. 

The Marietta Museum of History is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am until 4pm (check website for holiday and COVID-19 related closings)

Admission is $7 Adults, $5 Seniors and Students, 5 and under are free
