Income Limits

Every year, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development releases maximum household income limits to determine program eligibility. All CDBG program participants with the City of Marietta must have household incomes below 80% of the Area Median Income, and all public services must serve primarily low-to-moderate income families.

  • Extremely Low Income = <30% of Median Household Income
  • Very Low Income = 30%-50% of Median Household Income                      
  • Low Income = 50% - 80% of Median Household Income
