Internships

Student Internship Program

The Marietta Police Department works with numerous universities throughout the nation to offer internships to college students on an ongoing basis. The goal is to provide hands-on educational experiences for students interested in a career in law enforcement to gain valuable insight into career possibilities while pursuing academic goals. Benefits of an internship include college credit for work experience and training and the satisfaction in giving back to the community. Interns help the department carry out vital support functions and develop closer links to the community.

The Marietta Police Department is currently accepting applications. Students interested should submit an application along with a copy of their valid government-issued identification to the Marietta Police Department. Select the link below to download an internship application.
