Online Payment Interruption

The City of Marietta is currently unable to process certain online credit card payments. We apologize for the inconvenience. To continue accepting online payments, the City of Marietta is working to implement a secure payment alternative until the ransomware attack has been resolved. 

Please note that payments for excise taxes, including Liquor, Hotel and Motel, and Auto Rental, are due on Friday, February 20, 2026.You may also pay by mail or in person at our office. Please use the link provided to print and complete the required form and include it with your payment. If you need a renewal form, please check your mail, as it was mailed to the address on file.

Division Overview

The Business License Division administers business/occupation taxes; regulatory fees; franchise fees from telephone, electric power, cable television, fiber-optic cable and natural gas providers; alcoholic beverage excise taxes, hotel/motel occupancy taxes, rental motor vehicle excise taxes and insurance premium taxes.

Notify the Business License Division of any change of address, ownership, firm name or classification.
