MARIETTA – The Marietta Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce it will host another edition of the Swift Kids Running Club, which is a seven-week running program designed for children and held at Tumlin Park. The program will run from August 22 – October 26 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
The Swift Kids Running Club serves as a 5K training program to empower children with the knowledge they need to make smart lifestyle choices. Participants will enjoy time outside playing games, doing drills, and running on the track all the while learning that health and fitness can be easy, fun and rewarding.
Children must be between the ages of 5-13 years old to participate in this program which will be held at Tumlin Park located at 400 Chestnut Hill Rd SW, Marietta, GA 30064. The cost of the seven-week program is $35 for City residents and $50 for non-residents.
