MARIETTA - On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the City Council Meeting, Mayor Tumlin and Council honored Park Street Elementary School students who participated in the Marietta Power and Water poster contest as part of the nationwide Public Power and Clean Water Week.
Clean water week is a time to reflect on the importance of protecting our water resources. For more than 110 years, Marietta Water has delivered safe and clean water as well as prompt and courteous service. By protecting our water resources from pollution and properly maintaining our infrastructure to prevent and repair deficiencies, we can protect our city from the problems that many other communities currently face.
