MARIETTA – The Marietta Fire Department is pleased to announce they will be hosting an in house EMT Class for its newest recruit class on January 2, 2018, but first they need your help!
The theme for this class is “Stories of Life” which completely sums up why our dedicated group of individuals who put their lives on the line everyday have decided to devote their careers to keeping our citizens and community safe.
We would like to create a video to be shown at the beginning of the class featuring some people our Fire Department EMTs have helped here in Marietta. This video would be used for the benefit of our firefighters only so the setting is informal.
If your life or the life of someone you know was either save or helped by our Marietta Fire EMTs/Paramedics and you would consider helping train the next round of firefighter EMTs, please contact City of Marietta Communications Manager, Lindsey Wiles at lwiles@mariettaga.gov by Friday, November 17, 2017. We then hope to schedule a time to interview you to show our new firefighters why our department trains hard, stays up to date on the newest life saving techniques, and in general to help train the newest City of Marietta firefighters. Who knows, one of our newest members could one day save your life.
