MARIETTA – The City of Marietta’s Parks, Recreation, and Facilities department is pleased to announce they will host a Personal Training Certification Workshop with the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center on Saturday, January 12, and Sunday, January 13, 2019. This certification is valid for two years from the date of issue. Personal Training students must hold current adult CPR and AED certification from a recognized provider, including a hands-on practical skills assessment.
Participants of this workshop will attend a two-day Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Review Workshop featuring 14 hours of interactive lectures, discussion, and hands-on activities. The workshop provides an excellent opportunity to prepare for the exam and to interact with one of NETA’s well-qualified national presenters. This work shop includes the written certification exam administered by an independent proctor.
The workshop fee is $449; however, NETA is offering an early bird rate, if registered before December 13, 2018 at the discounted price of $399. To register, participants may call 1-800-237-6242, or interested parties may also register online at www.netafit.org.
