Marietta Power Announces New Alert System for Customers

MARIETTA - The City of Marietta Board of Lights and Water is committed to safely delivering reliable power to our customers. Although this is our goal, during storm and weather events your power can flicker and even turn off completely. Because of these storms, Marietta Power has developed power outage and restoration notifications via text and e-mail personalized specifically for you. 

The messages will be delivered using our mass notification platform. These outage alerts inform you of when there is an outage at your service address. You can count on us to quickly respond and bring electricity back if a storm knocks out power, and outage alerts allow you to always know where our crews are in the process of power restoration.
