MARIETTA – With the release of Governor Brian Kemp’s most recent Executive Order on April 8th, which removes the ban on public outdoor gatherings of 50 or more people, the City of Marietta will move forward with its Independence Day events and the Let Freedom Ring Parade.
The City of Marietta’s Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting applications for the 2021 Let Freedom Ring July 4th Parade which will be held on Saturday, July 3rd. School bands, military units, civic organizations, beauty queens, local Boys and Girl Scout clubs, area businesses and others can sign up online to be a part of this year’s parade.
Parade applicants should apply online. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 28th at 5 pm.
*The City of Marietta reserves the ability to cancel any events at any time due to an Executive Order issued by Governor Brian Kemp due to COVID-19 or any other outside factors.
