MARIETTA - Grateful to be onstage once again, 75 pre-professional dancers from Marietta-local Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre (GMDT) will be performing a showcase of the classical ballet, Swan Lake, on Saturday, April 24.
The youth company dancers will take the stage at Marietta High School’s dance studio while the show is livestreamed each hour on the hour beginning at 2:00 p.m. Two guest artists, Raul Peinado and Matthew Rice, will join the GMDT dancers as they perform stunning classical choreography staged by Marina Levasheva and set to Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable score.
Locals and ballet enthusiasts across the country can tune in all day to see the drama unfold from beginning to end, or watch at a later time before the livestream link expires on April 26. The ‘Pay What You Want’ performance is available for purchase starting at $20.00.
