MARIETTA - Marietta Parks & Recreation is excited to announce that Group Fitness Class series is coming to Custer Park Sports & Fitness Center. The classes seek to provide a range of fitness classes that are both affordable and enjoyable to a variety of individuals.
All classes are $7 per person per each individual class.
-Monday Morning Movements: is a fitness program designed to encourage movement at the beginning of the week. These group-oriented fitness classes are intended to be low impact and will provide activities that are both light while also training the cardiovascular system and musculoskeletal system. The primary focus of this program is to get the registered participants moving to positively begin their week not to cause soreness.
The first class will be Monday, January 23.
Monday mornings at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center starting at 6:30AM.
Classes will last between 45-minutes to 1-hour.
-Wednesday Warriors will provide exercises that are similar to HIIT training, but also aspects of a low-impact training class. This class is meant to ensure goals of various individuals are obtainable while also with the hopes not burn them out, because high intensity is not for all individuals.
The first class will be Wednesday, January 25.
Wednesday evenings at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center starting at 6:30PM.
Classes will last between 45-minutes to 1-hour.
-Fitness Lunch Rush is intended to be a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class. This type of fitness training involves repeated bouts of high intensity effort followed by varied recovery times. This fitness program’s primary function is to provide a fast and structured exercise experience for those that do not have the time for a lengthy fitness class.
The first class will be Tuesday, January 24.
Tuesdays at 11:30AM and Thursdays at 12:15PM at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center.
Classes will last between 30-minutes to 45-minutes.
