Marietta, GA —February 8, 2017 The Marietta Museum of History is pleased to continue its Pop-In for Pop Culture series on Tuesday, February 14th from 4pm to 8pm. This month we will be celebrating Valentine's Day. We will have classic food pairings for visitors to taste, including chips & dip and cheese & crackers.
Pop-In for Pop Culture is a yearlong program, created by the Museum to allow visitors to explore the Museum in a whole new way! Every 2nd Tuesday evening from 4pm to 8pm, the galleries will "Pop Open" for a night of Pop Culture from the 1950s and 60s. Enjoy reminiscing about the music, food, games and so much more.
The Museum uses ordinary artifacts to tell the extraordinary stories of Marietta and Cobb County and is the top-rated Museum and one of the Top Five things to do in Marietta on TripAdvisor. Galleries and exhibits cover topics such as military history, home life throughout the centuries, technology and local businesses from our past. Current temporary exhibits include: Shoppin' Southern Style: Fashions from the mid-20th century and Backstage Pass: Baron Wolman and the Early Years of Rolling Stone.
Admission to the Museum will be $5 per couple for the night and FREE to Museum members. Memberships will be available for purchase and start at $40.
