MARIETTA – The City of Marietta is partnering with the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) and the Arthritis Foundation to present Walk With Ease, a six-week walking program. Made possible through an NRPA grant, this program helps participants improve their health while also getting active and social within their community.
Features of the program include:
Classes meet on Mondays at 10 am, beginning on Monday, March 6, 2017. The orientation meeting is Saturday, March 4th, at 10 am at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center. For more information, please view the flyer.
The Walk with Ease program was initially designed by the Arthritis Foundation to help participants reduce pain from arthritis and improve overall health by safely making physical activity part of their everyday life. The program has expanded and is now open to anyone who wants to:
