MARIETTA - The City of Marietta Parks and Recreation Department’s Annual Mid-Winter Break Camp at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center was a success.  The camp was held for children, ages 6 through 12 years old, on February 20^th – 24^th, during the hours of 9am until 4pm with Extended Hours from 7:30am until 6pm.

Campers enjoyed playing games, going on field trips, getting physically fit, and participating in other structured activities.  Campers also showed off their creative side by participating in some edible arts and crafts. While campers brought their own lunches, they were also provided with a nutritional snack every day during the Mid-Winter Break Camp.

If you want a great alternative to your children sitting around playing video games and having too much idle time, please consider registering them for the upcoming Spring and Summer Day Camps as well.
