City of Marietta Employees Elected to Serve on the Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees

MARIETTA – The City of Marietta is pleased to announce that Patina Brown, its Deputy Director of Finance, has been appointed to serve as the Treasurer of the Board of the Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees at their 9th Annual Conference in Savannah, Georgia.

Additionally, since September 2017, Marietta’s Fire Chief, Tim Milligan has served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees.

The Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees is a nonprofit organization formed solely to provide education and development for trustees and administrators of Georgia’s Public Pension Plans. The GAPPT has been organized to provide a forum for the discussion of benefit plan issues; to provide a network for sharing solutions and resources; and to provide support and information for education, training, advancement and accreditation for public pension trustees and plan personnel.
