Marietta Parks & Recreations Brings Christmas to the Marietta Square on December 2, 2021

MARIETTA – Kick off the holiday season with City’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in conjunction with the arrival of Santa Claus on the Marietta Square, Thursday, December 2nd. The fun begins at 4:00PM with performances by local school choruses. Santa makes his grand entrance via a City of Marietta firetruck followed by the lighting of the City’s Christmas Tree at 6:00pm.

Holiday magic in the Historic Marietta Square is an unparalleled experience! No wonder a great deal of Christmas Romances are filmed here! Come and be a part of our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, see the beauty of Winter in the square, and maybe catch a glimpse of that jolly man in red.
