City of Marietta β FY2026 Proposed Budget

The City of Marietta will hold a Public Hearing on the FY2026 Proposed Budget. City staff will provide a brief overview, and citizens are encouraged to attend and participate.
The FY2026 Proposed Budget, effective July 1, 2025, includes a total budget of $428.4 million, with $78.7 million allocated to the general fund, which supports key services including:
- Police and Fire
- Parks and Recreation
- Code Enforcement
- Business Licensing
- Planning and Development
- Public Works
The tentative millage rate for the fiscal year is 2.788 mills. Property taxes help fund all general governmental services.
π Budget Adoption Date:
Marietta City Council will consider the budget for approval on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the same location.
