MARIETTA, GA - In response to higher wholesale wastewater treatment and infrastructure pass-through costs from the Cobb County Water System, Marietta Water will implement a 3.5% rate increase beginning July 1, 2025. For the average residential customer, this represents an increase of approximately $1.25 per month.
This change reflects Cobb County Water System’s rising expenses related to wastewater treatment, infrastructure maintenance, and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
