MARIETTA - The Marietta Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host a virtual kids and pet costume contest and pumpkin carving contest. Photos can be submitted online until October 25, 2020.
KIDS & PET COSTUME CONTEST: Get in the fall spirit with your child or pet by participating in this online costume contest! Use your own materials and creativity to design a unique, original, homemade masterpiece. Once your masterpiece is complete, take a picture of your child or pet in the costume and submit it online, beginning October 5th - 25th. (Kids contest is open for children ages 14 and under.)
Entries will be judged and TOP 5 placed on the Marietta Parks and Recreation Facebook page for community voting October 26th - 29th. Winners will be announced on Friday, October 30th and prizes will be mailed.
PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST: Show off your carving skills in this Pumpkin Carving Contest! Once your magnificent showpiece is complete, take a picture of it and submit it online, beginning October 5th - 25th. Entries will be judged and TOP 5 placed on the Marietta Parks and Recreation Facebook page for community voting October 26th-29th. Winners will be announced on Friday, October 30th and prizes will be mailed.
