MARIETTA, GA - In response to increased wholesale water and wastewater treatment costs along with infrastructure pass-through charges from regional treatment providers, the Cobb County–Marietta Water Authority (CCMWA) and Cobb County Water System (CCWS), Marietta Water will implement increases to water and wastewater rates. Customers will see these rate changes reflected in their February bills, following a January 1, 2026 effective date. For the average residential customer, the combined increase is approximately $3.05 per month.

Per the CCMWA and CCWS, the adjustment will help ensure continued investment in reliable service, infrastructure upkeep, and compliance with current and future regulatory standards.

Marietta Water remains committed to keeping customer utility rates as low as possible while continuing to provide reliable, high-quality service. We understand the impact of any rate change and are dedicated to minimizing the financial burden on those we serve.
