1. What are the office hours in the Probation Department?

Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2. Can I pay my probation payments online?

No, probation payments cannot be paid online, only in person or by mail. Forms of acceptable payment are cash, Visa, MasterCard, money order or cashier's check, made payable to Marietta Municipal Court. Personal checks are not accepted.

3. Can I transfer my probation case to another state?

No, misdemeanor cases cannot be transferred to another state. In addition, you must receive permission to leave the state while you are on probation.

4. If I am on probation for a DUI, how do I get my license back?

Contact the Department of Drivers Services for any information regarding your license.

5. What happens if I violate my probation?

If you do not abide by the conditions of your probation, the Probation Officer is required by the Court to take action. You will be required to appear before the Judge for a probation violation hearing.

6. Can my family attend a probation violation hearing?

Yes, court hearings are open to the public.
