MARIETTA, GA - While the 1913 murder of Mary Phagan and the subsequent lynching of Leo Frank remain among the most documented events in Georgia history, the woman at the center of the storm is often overlooked. On January 31, 2026, at 6:30pm, Cobb Landmarks will host Atlanta author Ann Hite for a compelling lecture titled, "Lucille Frank’s Fight: Antisemitism and the Legacy of Leo Frank."

Drawing from her new book, I Am a Georgia Girl: The Life of Lucille Selig Frank, 1888-1957, Hite will offer a rare look into the life of a woman whose world was shattered by one of the most notorious legal cases in American history. The presentation chronicles Lucille’s resilience and her lifelong mission to expose the antisemitism that fueled her husband’s trial and lynching. Space is limited for this special engagement. Tickets must be purchased online in advance at CobbLandmarks.com.
