Few people have the stomach for crawling into pipes as small as 18 inches for the sake of saving another person's life. Fortunately for the citizens of Marietta, the members of Marietta Fire Department (MFD)'s confined space rescue team have what it takes to do just that. A confined space is any enclosed space with limited egress and may have internal conditions that are immediately dangerous to life and health. The MFD Squad carries highly trained personnel and the critical equipment to intervene should a person become trapped in that type of environment.
In order to be prepared to carry out a confined space rescue, our team members participate in frequent training and drills. View our
