About the Honor Guard
Marietta Fire Department's Honor Guard was established in 2004. The goal of the Honor Guard is to add formality in ceremonies and funerals for public safety personnel and to assist neighboring jurisdictions with honor guard services. Members of this team recognize no variance in rank; in the interest of uniformity, each has equal standing and serves based on individual strengths. Each member strives to demonstrate compassion, strength and a sense of caring to the families of fallen public safety personnel.
